One of Frederick Cayley Robinson’s set designs for The Blue Bird, Maurice Maeterlinck’s “Fairy Play” about Tyltyl and Mytyl, the children of a poor woodcutter, who are sent out by the Fairy Bérylune to search for the Blue Bird of Happiness. They have many adventures, but ultimately find the bird in their own backyard.
